The research findings demonstrated that tumor cells fed both glucose and fructose used the sugars in two different ways. “Tumor cells thrive on sugar but they used the fructose to proliferate.” Their findings, published in the journal Cancer Research, “may help explain other studies that have linked fructose intake with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest cancer types.”
High fructose corn syrup is also attributed to the obesity epidemic in America. Obesity has been well established as a key contributor to diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

Isn’t it about time we speak out to stop the needless suffering attributed to the amount of high fructose corn syrup added to our food in America? Better yet, how about boycotting the “non-food” items in our diet, and instead reach for the organic, non-processed foods?
