Yesterday’s message from tut.com got my attention:
“Too often, Rosie, the only difference between HAVE and HAVE NOT depends on whether or not the initial request was followed by a thank you, yee-haa, and action, rather than a question mark, timidity, and TV.
Don’t ask. Give thanks. Bust a move.
Yo -
The Universe”
Give thanks…hmm. Tut’s daily affirmation takes me back to my recent readings in The Attactor Factor, particularly the part about emotion, feeling, and gratitude. Joe Vitale writes: “One of the most powerful energies you can ever experience is gratitude. Feel gratefulness for anything, and you shift your entire outlook. Feel thankful for your life, your lungs, your home, this book; it doesn’t matter. Once you feel grateful, you are in an energy that can create miracles.”
Today someone sent me this cute little verse, filled with such wisdom. It occurred to me to be grateful for all the little things and all the big things. Big things, such as we are alive and have eyes with which to see this message…
ALL I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LIFE
I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY
Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket
Walk softly and carry a big carrot
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears
There’s no such thing as too much candy
All work and no play can make you a basket case
A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day
Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits
Some body parts should be floppy
Keep your paws off other people’s jellybeans
Good things come in small sugar-coated packages
The grass is always greener in someone else’s basket
An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare
To show your true colors you have to come out of your shell
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey
I hope your weekend is full of peace, love, and joy…and all things sweet and gooey.
HAPPY EASTER!
